Leadership

Organizational Leadership & Sustainability

Throughout my career, I have contributed to the growth and sustainability of performing arts organizations through leadership, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and strategic relationship building. In addition to producing artistic and educational programs, I work closely with donors, community leaders, university stakeholders, and organizational partners to strengthen institutional capacity and support long-term impact. These experiences have provided valuable expertise in building collaborative networks, advancing organizational goals, and sustaining mission-driven initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Developed and strengthened relationships with donors, alumni, community leaders, and university stakeholders through educational programs, artist engagement opportunities, cultivation events, and ongoing stewardship activities. These efforts helped expand organizational support and strengthen long-term connections between stakeholders and the mission of the organization.

Donor Stewardship

Coordinated donor receptions, artist dinners, educational experiences, and VIP events designed to deepen relationships between supporters and the organization. These activities helped foster trust, encourage continued engagement, and strengthen philanthropic participation.

Partnership Development

Collaborated with academic departments, community organizations, artists, and institutional partners to develop educational, artistic, and outreach initiatives. These partnerships expanded audience engagement, increased organizational visibility, and strengthened the role of the performing arts within university and community settings.

Grant & Resource Development

Contributed to grant-supported projects through program coordination, reporting support, and stakeholder communication. Assisted with initiatives that expanded educational programming, audience access, and organizational capacity while supporting compliance with funding objectives.

Advisory Council Growth

Assisted in the recruitment, cultivation, and engagement of advisory council members and community leaders who provide strategic guidance, advocacy, and philanthropic support. Through this work, I contributed to strengthening organizational leadership, stakeholder networks, and long-term sustainability.

Organizational Sustainability

Supported the long-term sustainability of a university-based performing arts organization through coordinated fundraising activities, stakeholder engagement, audience development, partnership building, and strategic planning efforts that strengthened institutional capacity and community impact. These efforts helped strengthen institutional capacity, expand community engagement, and support the continued growth of artistic and educational programming.

Why It Matters?

The leadership, partnership-building, and stakeholder engagement skills developed through this work are directly applicable to advancing large-scale community initiatives. Successfully implementing programs such as SoundBridge requires the ability to build trust, develop cross-sector partnerships, engage supporters, and sustain long-term organizational collaboration. My experience in nonprofit leadership and development provides a strong foundation for advancing these initiatives and expanding their impact.
